Centreville, Kitchener: Neighbourhood Guide, Homes for Sale & Market Stats

Centreville: Established east Kitchener community with LRT access at Fairview Park

Centreville is the older, more established half of the Centreville-Chicopee area, with roots going back to the late 1950s and the bulk of its housing dating from the 1970s and 80s. Nestled between Highway 8 and the Grand River on the east side of Kitchener, it offers a settled, community-minded character with broad housing options — from affordable rentals and townhomes to well-maintained detached singles.

The Centreville Chicopee Community Association — one of the oldest neighbourhood associations in Kitchener — has been organizing programming and community events since 1979, giving the area a genuine and enduring sense of belonging. The LRT at Fairview Park Mall provides excellent transit connectivity.
