Forest Hill: Quiet, mature west Kitchener neighbourhood with Lakeside Park and solid value
Forest Hill is a quiet, mature Kitchener neighbourhood just north of the expressway on the city’s west side. It sits between Highland Road, Homer Watson, and Westmount Road. Most homes were built from the late 1950s into the early 1980s — bungalows, two-storeys, and the odd sidesplit — on lots with mature trees that give the area real character. Lakeside Park and Queensmount Arena are both well-loved community anchors. The neighbourhood offers excellent access to multiple shopping destinations and the expressway. It’s a well-kept, unpretentious community that consistently delivers solid value.
