Grand River South is a larger, newer, and still-growing east Kitchener neighbourhood. It shares the same exceptional Grand River setting as Grand River North but has a decidedly more contemporary feel. Public elementary students attend Lackner Woods Public School or Chicopee Hills Public School from JK through Grade 6, then Stanley Park Senior Public School for Grades 7 and 8. High school students attend Grand River Collegiate Institute. Catholic students attend Saint John Paul II Catholic Elementary School, followed by St. Mary’s High School.
