Grand River South, Kitchener: Neighbourhood Guide, Homes for Sale & Market Stats

Grand River South: Modern riverfront living in one of Kitchener’s most desirable newer communities

Grand River South is a larger, newer, and still-growing east Kitchener neighbourhood. It shares the same exceptional Grand River setting as Grand River North but has a decidedly more contemporary feel. Most housing was built from 2005 onward, bringing a broad mix of modern condos, townhomes, semis, and detached singles. The area has quickly developed a strong family identity. Good schools, trail access, and a sense of community make it feel more established than its relatively young age might suggest. Grand River South has become one of Kitchener’s most desirable newer communities.
